Something I must say
If I turn to look back and think,
Why was I happy yesterday,
'Twas cause I had a lively little link,
With the maker of the day.
He causes the darkness to dispel,
With the sun so shining bright.
Why should I be afraid to tell,
He helped me through the fight.
And if ever in my happiness,
I don't tell you of his works,
Remind me of the foregone mess,
I will not my duty shirk.
That happiness isn't heaven sent ,
If this you think and see.
I got one thing to tell you my friend,
It doesn't work with me!

With the sun so shining bright.
